Bodged an air filter....

Had an old HKS Mushroom filter laying around in the shed doing nothing, So thought i'd attach it to the Volvo leaving on the air feed.
Gotta say I only put it on to get the "Pigeon" noise, but it actually pulls a little better. Lights the tyres up in first now :cuckoo:

LOL, yeah been sat a year or two.
Still selling the filter these days though, So replacement elements are still about new.

That filter looks a little on the small side to me, but if it's pulling ok then who's to argue??.

What did you do with the vac pipe from the BCS to the inlet between airbox and turbo?
Block it?

if its good enough for the D1 drifter then it can't be bad, ok it was the HKS drift team but still lol

Aye, a lot of Jap metal use it still.
It was on my Bluebird, and that was running around 270bhp with no issues.

Plumbed in underneath :smile:
