Evening.......

does the r have self adjusting tick over?

Mine seems to be quite low.....Also noticed if i pull up in traffic, it feels like it wants to pull away, almost lumpy like feeling......its got new sparkplugs leads etc......is it any chance that its running on 95 ron?Or I have just changed from cone to panel filter (pipercross)....

cheers for any help...:B_thumb:

It could be the 95ron, if you usually use super it can sometimes take a few miles for the ecu to adjust, but i'd expect it to sort itself out after a while.
It could be something as simple as a perishing pipe.

Do you mean it blips slightly now and then on tickover? From around 800rpm - 900rpm ish? I seem to remember it doing that (unless I am going mad).

The Peugeot is great really. i must be an absolute fool - it does 48mpg, went through MOT in Jan with no advisories and is alright - except it's not a raging 300bhp Volvo estate......that's the problem lol. In this climate, to go from 48mpg back to 20 - 27mpg I must need my head seeing to. Volvo - for life - and i now know what they mean having had and sold 3 x Volvo's (T5 auto, 850R auto - yours - an interim 240GL - what a lemon that was - and now an 850R manual)........

Just seen your issue ...... may be a leaking vacuum pipe or maybe fuelling?
