I've been looking at the HLM website (as that seems to be the place people go for remaps on this site). Anyway, I looked at the Horse Power gain for the price and I nearly fell off my chair. £545 for an extra 30 bhp?

I thought these T5's can by remapped to 300 or even 310hp like the plod models, yet the HLM website days 280 is max.

Is it really worth the £535 price tag for an extra 30 hp? I'm particulary interested to hear from people who have had this done on their car.......

Regards

James

Newer models of our car will hit 310bhp but we have smaller turbos and smaller engines etc. 280 may be a little conservative. And the hlm map for uors is 300 quid unless they've bumped the price up a bit in the last few months.

Looks like the prices have nearly doubled then, because take a look at the website.......

i always understood it was £150 for antiques like 850's, & £300 for ME7ish cars. I can't see the very new stuff being within that price range tho

Yea I paid £300 for map and dyno before and after.
Give Hamish a call.
Also don't focus too much on the peak power figures :)

A peak of 280bhp would be a good result and as Frankie says it's the wodge of midrange that will wake the car up.
