Hi all,
I have got a 2001 C70 T5 auto with 75k which I have had for a number of years and its generally only used in the "summer" months.
I have just had a call from the garage to say its failed...
As Dave said it is all about what your are willing to spend but a T5 is probably the way to go, if maintained they are a cracking engine and with only a remap, perhaps a slightly bigger turbo and a...
Hi all,
I've got a 2001 C70 T5 and over the last few months the glue holding the rear window in place has failed, predominantly along the top and is now loose.
Anyone got any experience of...
Many thanks Brian, will give it a go.
Hi all,
Not been on here for a while and so I hope you are all well. As a result of my daughters car throwing it's hand in I have been forced to bring the C70 out of hibernation, (since...
Could someone please remind me the cambelt replacement intervals on these, mine is a 2000 C70 with 74k, service book says it had it done 5 years ago.
Thanks mate.
Thanks for all your replies had a rummage around with the switch pack and a squirt of contact cleaner appears to have sorted it out, although the garage guys that were sorting out the radiator seems...
Thanks for that I will give it a go.
Hi all,
I have got a 2000 V70 2.4 petrol and for some months I have been having problems with the drivers door window, in so far as it would only come half way down and then stop.
Unfortunately...
Thanks for the replies, to add insult to injury the central locking has just given up. I think this could be terminal.
Hi all,
Amongst many things which, as they do all seem to come along at once, weeks away from payday it would appear that my power steering fluid has decided to deposit itself on my drive. The...
I get the same thing on my 1999 V70 2.4 auto, its been doing it for years with no other problems, (that's tempting fate!)

Hi,
I have got a 2000 v70 2.4 petrol which is taking ages to warm up, even in this good weather. Is it likely to be the thermostat and are there any things I need to look out for when replacing...
Lovely looking car

What engine was it off TC ?
TC will it fit a late 99 V70 140 bhp petrol, if so how much do you want for it?
That is a lot more than I thought, with the bits that is in the £400 range, which is probably not far off what it is worth in total. I have unfortunately spent a small fortune sorting out the ETM...
Hi all,
Anyone know how much roughly it costs to change a PCV system on a 1999 V70 2.4 petrol.
Rufe at FRF can supply the bits for just over two hundred.
Cheers

Bit of an update, with the refund I got from Lukas I ended up getting a new ETM fitted and it ran fine for a few months. I took it over the tops to Whitby over the weekend and it started playing up...
