As a slightly related tangent and a bit of a threadjack (sorry T5ER), my hors sound like they are wrapped in socks and buried at the bottom of the laundry basket. In a submarine. Is this a known issue? Can both the horns be broken?
Want to move my horns but were the fook do you put them
just throw em away wayne, if you wanna let someone know your there just drop a cog n spin the wheels. theres debate on wether its a worthwhile mod for extra airflow (i doubt it does much personally). mostly they are moved for cosmetic reasons when new grills are fitted. search bar "horn relocation"
Want to move my horns but were the fook do you put them
Under the front bumper - nearside, just infront of the wheel is a bracket with 2 holes in (bear in mind I don't have oem fogs - this bracket may be for mounting these??). I relocated mine to there, as after having them on the plastic guard - as suggested in the relocating instructions, they filled with water and stopped working. (mind you I had recently charged through a rather large puddle and also may have been how I had them positioned - doh!).

I've just fitted mine on the vertical inner wing just under where the battery tray and air box sat. Down side for you is you've still got your battery in the engine bay so you'll have to do it form under neath....

I think we should all get these http://www.emergencyequipmentshop.co.uk/index.php?cPath=38&osCsid=5ab3cff7c11a4da0588b50cfcdfc3724 There is nothing written in the Highway code and we could pervert it over to a Volvo thing instead of its intended use :D

Re- blue lights behind the grill I will try to post pics of mine which have been fitted to the horn brackets (the horns re-located to behind the N/side Fog light PS Legal all the way!!! (Fire Officer)

Post 107252 by Baj on 2006-05-13 01:11:15

As far as I am aware it is illegal to have light of any colour other than white on the front of the car (uless you have good reason as stated in the post above). I dont know, however, the rule concerning flashing white. The strobes available in Halfords and the like say 'For show use only, not for use on road' but if having them fitted is an offence how do you get to use them at shows?
