Hi,
Just traded in my 03MY Imprezza Turbo for a low miles 03MY V70R, its certainly an interesting car. Any one any experience with ECU upgrades for this car, I had great results on the Imprezza. Also, mines a geartronic, specs for max torque vary, some say 300Nm, some say 400Nm, any one had one on a dyno?
Cheers.

I've got an earlier V70R tuned (see my sig for details) - I used RICA ecu tune, although there are others (BSR/MTE) and you can find info at www.volvotuninguk.com - give them a buzz - ask for Adam you will not be disapointed!!!
If you want to go for it - speak with the site owner - Justin he can book your RICA upgrade and get you a discount too :)
EDIT: Oh and welcome to the site! you're in the right place....

Hi and welcome, we had a dyno day a few weeks ago with an 03 V70R running.
See here in the gallery for the graph :)

Hi
Welcome to the forum mate :)
Any pics of the Scoob + Volvo.

Thanks Justin, interesting to see BHP at 256, well below Volvo's claim of 300. Is that the figure at the crank?
How do you rate Chip Tuning, their web site looks good.
As to how the R compares to the Scoob, they are very different. The scoob was
very quick, with prodrive ecu and exhaust sub 5 sec 0-60, and very sharp handling. That said, over 80mph on an A road the R would not loose much ground, I'm impressed with active suspension.

Not that I'd be doing over 60 on an A road of course

That is wheel horse power and torque CES

Yeah the labmonkey's V70R did pretty much book figures on the RR. All the plots from the dynojet are at the wheels, particularly useful as you cannot get accurate crank figs from automatics.
There is plenty of scope for tuning with the phase 2 R including the 440bhp upgrade (RICA stage 3)
You are not the first scoob convert. Scooby555 has an S60 T5. I hope you are enjoying the new car and can get some pics up for us soon.
Welcome to the site.

Hmm why not ?
A lot of A roads are duel carriage way - 70mph :)
