My friends father has decided to sell his T5. He has had it for 3 or 4 years now, it has had a replacement engine and the clock currently shows approx 203k, so it's been around a bit. Bodywork is excellent, interior is excellent. He has really looked after the car, also he has carried out all the work on the car on his own. taxed and MOT till end of year. Reason for selling, looks like the rear seal has gone and is leaking oil, also there is a boost problem, the car will go up to a ton rapidly then the boost will die without any warning, and no it's not the engine knocking it seems more like a vac pipe problem. He has decided he is now too old to undertake the rear seal and really can't be bothered any more. He has just gone out and bought a VW Bora :confused: . So really wants rid of the car. So to sum up Volvo 854 T5 CD Auto 203k approx T&t Full beige/cream leather ABS unit has been replaced and is in full working order Tracs not working All common faults replaced/reapaired except rear seal. Dark Mettalic red (unsure of the specifice colour name) He is wanting £475 ono for it. We have advised him to split it and sell it but he really is not interested so I suggested putting it on here as someone might have time and space to split it, or pay to get the rear seal done.
