Well this is old news but today i had to use 97ron (first time in about 5months) as i had to go see the missus at a BSJA jump off. Anyways put 20quids worth in and boy i couldnt half tell the difference it all seemed like a major effort to accelerate hard. And most the BP garages up here are stoppiung the ultimate for some strange reason. Anyways which do you prefer BP ultimate or optimax For me its 100% optimax seem to get more response from pushing the pedal and better mpg anyone else?

On friday I had to fill up on 10 quids worth of Texaco 97 high octane as I was low on petroleum, I timed it perfectly to the garage which I was unaware had changed from Shell to Texaco. I havent gone over 3k rpm since or gone to WOT.

watchjed some dyno testing of BP Ultimate 102 at Goodwood on Friday - BP claim up to 60bhp increase in power on turbo cars - wonder what kind of difference youd get with the t5? I'm guessing less than 5bhp...

Nearest Shell garage to me is about 15 miles away. Got a BP Ultimate garage local but half the time they haven't got any. Bah
