Has anyone got any idea how to tention or put on the 850 steering pump belt? I have fitted every thing else and am struggling to fit this, the belt seems too long but that is the belt which came off. :cussing: I have run it from steering pump round the crank then the AC compressor then the little wheel thingy, then the alternator then up to the pump again. But I cannot get it tentioned. Is it the case of using the alternator to take up the slack then then tentioner? I cannot see how as the alternator does not seem to have a slotted section to do so. Can someone please help - i'm flapping here, I wanna drive this thing tomorrow
