OMG - is that real. Who would want to turn up to a party in that !!
I am absolutely lost for words...... x
not my cup of tea but enterprising none the less
LOL shall we all do a volvo one
I wonder if his insurance company is aware of his ventures? If not he,s leaving himself and others wide open
2.RIDE IN A EVO BEFORE BUYING YOURSELF would the sane person not just go and take a test drive at a garage...cost £0
I wonder if his insurance company is aware of his ventures? If not he's leaving himself and others wide open
I was thinking that too. Liability insurance as well. Perhaps he hasn't thought it through thoroughly.
2.RIDE IN A EVO BEFORE BUYING YOURSELF would the sane person not just go and take a test drive at a garage...cost £0
My thoughts entirely - you see someone struggling with that decision cant you "Hmmmmm now do I pay 250 quid to be driven around by a looney to see if this car suits me or do I just pop down to my local dealership and take one out with a friendly salesman for free??" Tough one hey? LMSO x
We should bombard him with questions - who's first??? I sent "Is it modified, cos it looks pretty standard to me?" Cheers Cue
:rice: a special service from a special chap...
Fair enough if its somthing real special for a wedding and a classic car or a limo. I can understand a driving day or a rally day etc But whos going to wana be a passanger in EVO , its a car to drive not to be driven in! Only chavs hoodys, bassball caps or car slags with no driving licence of your own and more money than sence need apply! Mind you if you were criminally minded you could perhaps hire him as a get away driver perhaps!
I am now considering doing this myself as you cant buy a 850 anymore (well new anyway)and i iam ok on the insurance front as i have public liability upto £1 million, now theres a thought to earn some quick cash
cant blame the guy for initiative..if someone wants to part with cash fair play..many a track day sees a queue of peeps paying for fast runs..albeit a closed track but still happens and the average petrolhead interested in this will not care a jot if it is road or track as long as he gets his cheepies thru some fast roads that the EVO owner will take him.

It will all end in tears:troutslap
Where is he gonna do this speed run? Thinks that ebay should bin this as illegal activity
Trackdays are actually around that price. Differance is ... they last longer, nicer cars than evo 7's and you can DRIVE THE CAR !
no mention of speeds to be achieved on the run - why knock it, if people are happy with the liability front and happy to pay the dough then good luck to him. I can't see a volvo of any state of tune having the same appeal! That said, i went on a run with Wobbly in the C70 and had to pay him to let me out! :haha:
