Hi Folks Looking for advice. My passenger side door is being tempremental when openeing with the plip. All other doors open apart from the passenger side, the button comes up but not all the way and when you pull the handle it drops to the close position and will not open. I need to go into the car and leen over to open. Also I need to be very close to the reciever at the front of the dash when opening the doors as the plip (remote) does not work at any great range. This has only started happening recently as previously I could be a good distance away and the doors would open. Changed the battery but that doesn't help. Any help would be appreciated. Bob

Hi Grumpybob. I would think that you passenger door fault is down to a sticking/faulty actuator. Do you have a key hole on the passenger door? If so, try unlocking it with the key, if the button lifts and then drops I would suggest a broken spring in the latch assembly. Land Rover Discovery's have a common prob. with broken springs but I have not come across it with an ovlov. I have not had any with with the "plip" control system. Perhaps some one else has? Thanks for that. No key on the passenger side so can't try that. Anybody else got any suggestions.?? Cheers Bob
