Hey Guys and Gals Quick question, what is the diffrence beetween 2v preout's and 4v preouts I understand diffrence in voltage somewhere, but is there any advantage or disadvantage or either or I need to know as will same me money if don't benefit from 4v one Cheers in advance

4's output is obviously a higher output power. Basically, when the signal gets to the power amp its got a head start on the 2v's resulting in more power out of the amplifier & generally better sound quality. Most pre outs are around 1.2v, better quality units use 2v's & top stuff use 4's. Cut a long story short.......the more go's in, the more comes out. Amplifier makes more noise without using more power itself. Shoot a gun from standing still. Then shoot a gun from a car at 60mph. The 1 from the cars travelling faster with the same power from the gun. Get it? errrrr I THINK........ lol
