Hi all just wondering whats the best way too fit a boost gauge to my 850, i want the gauge in the same place as where the info switch is, the gauge fits nice in there, but my problem is where do i come into the car from the engine with the pipe?
Cheers

Under the dash to the right. You will need to tee into the hose for the dash gauge and run your new hose up through the steering column and through the underside of the plstic where you want the gauge. Not so much the steering column but above it.

You could also take a feed straight from the vacuum tree saves inserting a T piece.

ran mine from under the dash and found it inacurate, go for the vac tree but from a rear port as you tend to kink the hose under the cover if you go from the front

Are you doing away with the info switch?
See my thread in the s/v40 forum called v40 mods for another idea!:D

I ran mine through the gromet hole where the loom goes through the bulkhead if that helps.

Thats a good way of doing it, looks pretty tidy, anyway i got mine plumbed in, i just cant find the wires to hook up for the illumination, i got told connect the gauge wires to the pink and black.. i did that and nothing

Because the gauge don't draw much current I took my supply from the stereo ignition live and ground. HTH.
