the right hand end rocker cover bolt always has oil around it in a little puddle. is this coz its leaking from around the bolt? i no its obviuose but just making sure. how can i stop it leaking from there?
These bolts are the camshaft cover retaining bolts, they go into the head, not sure what you can do, you could try and clean it up with a small wire brush and carb cleaner then put sealant around it, not sure if that will help, Only other way is to take the bolt out, and reseal the thread on the bolt to stop it leaking, Gary.
You may just have it pooling at that end after coming from further along the rocker cover. I had the same problem and it was from the oil filler cap seal and the top breather hose. HTH.
