Hello people! I've been a member of 'the other site' for some time and as we know it's died. Been a member of this one for a while too, but I never actually say that much however I do browse it nearly daily! So I thought I should finally say 'Hi'! :haha: So Hello, and thankyou for the spot-on www.volvot5.co.uk sticker; pictures to follow when I get a camera off my housemates (i'll try and make it interesting.... :partysmil ) I've got a '96 855 T5, with 166k on the clock and has been running on the 280 RICA since early April. Fantastic stuff. Everyone was right, and OMG why didn't I do that earlier?! I'm a student living in Leamington, we get lots of saxos and corsas round here, and it's just so enjoyable destroying them! Often miss my exit to lectures in the mornings just to have some fun! _,-._,-._,-ah 2nd gear, they never see it coming-._,-._,-. :smlove2: I'm so thankful for all the wise advice on here - from when I was just looking at T5s to now - all the advice is so helpful and generous and I'm sure you'd be hard pushed to find a nicer bunch of petrol heads out there! Anyway I include a link to my humble sleeper, www.pzorb.com/gallery/, it's not much to behold but that's the way I want to keep it (can't have people thinking it's fast now, can we?! ;) ) Thanks for all the wise words, keep up the good work and I'll try to be just a little more vocal from time to time!! Cheers Martin

Hello mate, You will be pleased to hear that there is another VF member in Lemington - in a bright red V70 phase 2, by the name of Matt. Met him on Sat - v tall chap, groovy car. Enjoy the forum.

Hello there! I thought i could feel my ears burning this morning! Yep I'm in leamington too, and I agree with you Martin, there are far too many slow Saxos and little Peugeots tootling round town. It's about time that there were a few more Volvo's around to show them what a proper car looks like. I'll keep my eye out for you in and around town then, so if you see someone in a bright red Phase 2 V70 waving at you, it's probably me!
