Fantastic stuff mate, excellent quality job. I take it that it was a nightmare though?

it was a mess, at one stage had been hit at the front, quater pannels were really badly dameged, one was full of lead. the car had been restored about 15yrs ago, i think it was done well but when the current owner bought it someone jut tarted it up for sale, filled up the sills with expanding foam and filler, put filler over all the rust, and then just filled the rest of the damage with filler, the car was a real mess. now however all the rust has been cut out and new bits made to fix it. lets just say there was 3 weeks of solid rubbing at the bonnet to get it right! alan its on the 12 oclock boat to scotland, then will be on its way to the newcastle area, so keep an eye out if ur that way!lol

Go for the Jag, always loved the MK2. Could never get on with the facination with the E-Type, never liked the look (that said I am biased, I own a 1969 MGB GT!!). However a MK2 in the right colour is always a beauty.
