I'm not technically new here, but have not been around much since I parted company with the C70 T5 about a year ago. I now have a white '96 855 T-5 GLT! Picked it up on Sunday from Wrexham for £600 with MOT till July '08 and Taxed till end of Jan '08 - 128k Miles Needs a good clean but its in good condition. Managed 31.4 MPG on the drive back which was about 145 mile! Im impressed since ive not had a powerfull car for over 12 months it was not driven lightly LOL. Just been on Parts for Volvos and ordered the following; 1 x 850, S/V70 up to 98', Ignition Lead set 20 Valve Engines (PFV902581) 1 x 850 Distributor Cap (PFV902333) 1 x Oil Sump Drain Plug 850/S40/V40/S70/V70/S60/S80 (PFV902640) 1 x 850 Series (Turbo Engines) Genuine Volvo Spark Plugs (8692071) 1 x Sump Plug Gasket - 850/S40/V40/S70/V70/S60/S80 (PFV902643) 1 x Genuine Volvo Oil Filter - 200/700/850/900/S/V/C70 75'-98' (3517857) 1 x 850 Upper Engine Mounting Bush (Poly) (PFV902289) 1 x 850 92' on Rotor Arm (PFV902573) 1 x 5 Litre 10W/40 Part-Synthetic Oil 1 x 1 Litre 10W/40 Part-Synthetic Oil Think thats most of the Stage 0 sorted!
good to see the omega's gone! Welcome back to T5 land! LOL!!
Thanks buddy! Ive ordered a load of bits to do a stage 0. Should be getting delivered today so im going to be a busy boy tonight/tomorrow depending on how much day light we have once I finish work at 5pm. Its so quick :D. I love booting it off a roundabout in 2nd gear and clinging on and then backing off as its get to illeagal speeds toooooo quick lol. Just need to sort out a high idle? tad under 1000rpm hot or colde and revs to 2000rpm when its started and the usual rattles from the tailgate... other then that im in love. Think i like it more then the C70

Nice looking car that! Just like mine when i got it 3 months ago. Mine had 113k and it cost me £900, mot'd till Feb 09 and tax till Feb 09. The one i have has leather interior also which is a god send with 4 kiddies :D Welcome back to the forum by the way. Be careful with that loud pedal, i know exactly what you mean about the coming off the roundabouts, there are many in and around where i live, a short stamp on the accelerator and that Scooby that was up my back end is 200yrds back, luvvin it! The only drawback with my car is i was told it was Rica'd but alas its not, so i cant wait for that, mucho fun !!!! All the best mate Lee
