MPH and Top Gear Live.....anybody go?

Went to MPH show and TG Live last night at Earls Court, fantastic show (better than last year) and some nice cars too. Some pics (though no spoilers for those who might be goin) 30" Hummer H2 Wheels Image Image Rolls Royce Phantom Drophead Coupé.......its absolutely humongous!! Image Image Nissan GTR (the guy fired it up, but I wasn't quick enough with the video) Image Image Racing C30 Image C70 Image So, MPH organisers phone up Volvo and say 'come and exhibit at our show' and some Volvo guy decides that they'll take the diesels?!?! WTF Volvo?????? Image XC90 R-Design (D5 arrrrgh!) Nice exhausts Image S40 (also a D5) Image Image Image FIN

might well go to it at the NEC soon...dunno if it's worth going or not tbh! what do you think? did you enjoy it?

I enjoyed it, we had the gold tickets which included 2 free drinks, faster entry to the show, access to the paddock after the show, and seats closer to the front, but............... at £58 quid each (for the gold), it just crosses the line into 'not worth it'. The TG show was better than last years, the TG guys came up into the audience (not gonna say anymore than that). What made it worse was that the stewards hadn't been briefed properly, so the quick entry didn't work, non of them knew which row was which, they weren't handing out all the stuff needed for the show. Bit disappointing really. But after all that I did enjoy it, and there were some good laughs. And the sound system they use is mind blowing!

IVe been the last couple of years, but Im not bothering this year. It IS good, dont get me wrong, but last year was similar to the year before ( apart from the TG show that is). It was a bit TOO busy aswell, and I couldnt seem to get any good piccys of the cars, without some d**k walking infront of my camera :mad:
