Anyone fitted an mbc to a LPT volvo engine? Was it worth it?
Also, what the bloody hell is the difference between a bleed valve and an mbc, becuase I keep reading different threads and now I'm more confused. The mbc's available on ebay look like bleed valves.

I thought they were similar, but I'm not keen on either, I feel they are a bit of a bodge. Sorry, I know this won't help!:wiggle:

a bleed valve only drains off an adjustable amount of air, still allowing some air thru to the actuator & still allowing wastegate creep (where the wastegate starts to open before the desired limit wasting boost)
a MBC blocks the air altogether creating a much more aggresive drive & alot better in my opinion
as a rule a bleed valve will have 3 pipe outlets while a MBC only has 2
i've used an MBC for about 7years & wouldn't do it any other way (except an EBC i've got now lol)
