Doing an oil change on the S70 and noticed in the depths of her bowels that the end of the neg battery lead has rotted off, down where it bolts on by the starter motor. Looks like it has been disconnected for a while... So it's been relying on the other tail from the battery -ve lead that bolts to the inner wing just infront of the battery. Strangely she's been firing up without any bother at all in last weeks -10deg C, and the battery is original - 11yrs old!!!! Reckon thats a good record. tim.
