I know a few people on here have had an engine remap or "chipped".
Just wanted to know peoples thoughts on it. Pros / cons...
I'm considering having it done. Possibly by an ecu magic in Manchester, I liked what I read on their website.

I have an S40 1.9d sport. I was kinda wanting to go somewhere that had done a good few volvos. So somewhere within a reasonable distance of manchester that you would reccommend would be great or if they do site installation, even better.

Hello im unsure if they do the same process as the 850,s rica and otherfirms do a postal service for the ecu but with sending the ecuoff theres one down side and that is that you will not have your car cheacked and fault codes given you best bet is to try and find some one that has or have had a s40 and ask them where to go i know a moderator called al has had one or got one also enigma666 has had s40's at the end of the day if theres a good firm 200miles away i would go to them as i said try to stick to a tried and tested remap firm try starting another thread up asking wheres the best place for a s40 remap
