Brake vibration

Folks I'm looking for a bit of advice just in case anyone has been through the same issue. I did a full replacement of all the brake discs, pads, and handbrake shoes a month or two ago. Initially everything was great, and the previously-experienced brake juddering reduced by about 80%. However, within a couple of weeks it was getting bad again, so I got all four wheels balanced. Again, this made things better temporarily, but now its worse than ever. Its mostly through the steering wheel and brake pedal. Any ideas? I dont want to assume its a warped disc and spend another £80 on replacements only to find its no better! Cheers KPB.

Hi. It does sound like worped discs. Is there any discolouration like are they blue. If they are then they have overheated and will be worped. Did you give them time to bed in mate. Also it could be a sticking caliper making them overheat.

I'm quite particular about that! Thanks for the input.

UPDATE - removed, inspected and re-fitted the discs. Nothing was amiss or badly fitted, so test drove the car....and....bugger all improvement. Popped to German and Swedish on the way home and they had brembo discs at £40 a corner, so have just fitted them and apparently its solved the problem. I'll withhold judgement until they're properly bedded in tho!
