Nice to join the club forum.Greetings to all other happy t5ers.
I've had my '95 850 wagon since Oct '06 and love the buzz i get each time i drive.Have owned a few brands but the three Volvos i've had(240,1987 740 and present marque)have by far been the best..Have spent a few quid fixing the niggles the previous owners inflicted but what a car to own!
Admired from a poverty stricken distance when new but when the chance came to own a classic i could not pass on that.
I found out after two years of driving my 850 that the boost pipe was slightly damaged, got it fixed and what a difference! My quick car suddenly got a whole lot quicker.
Have done some long family holiday runs with great reward and solo blasts when the times are right, what other car does this as well?
Will add some pics for posterity, not a show preparation but all i ever wanted in a drive so glad to share the experience...
Please get in touch if you like positive feedback as life's too short to be in the wrong gear.Take care...

Cheers for the warm welcome,Pete. My names Cliff and I hail from sunny Bognor Regis.Thats some spec you've got, man.I would love to treat my 855 to that sort of feast, but the kids and a new house move put that on the shelf. The plan is to throw 5k at it one day!For now just fast, smooth and safe.See ya..

Hello cheers for the complement, if you have done a stage 0 which is get the car up and running to a good condition e.g. hoses, pcv etc theres a firm called hlm thats located in bromsgrove that does a 304 remap which i have on my car it makes a world of difference and is only £150.
Also things like the front strut brace isnt too expensive around £60-£70.
Good luck with the car and if you have any question were all here to help.
Pete

Welcome to the site,if you want to know anything about Volvo's then this is the place,it seems to me.All the owners have a mine of useful information,I wish I'd found it before I made the main stealer richer.
