you going to be running with your MBC on? i'm interested to see how your times compare
For sure mate! Hopefully smash that 10.276 for the 1/8th and see what I get for the 1/4. It'd be nice to get into the 14s...we'll see!
i think 14's should be highly possible, say let us know how you do
will do :)
i think 14's should be highly possible, say let us know how you do
Really pi$$ed off with the whole wk/end mate- badly organised to say the least! Got 3 runs on Friday the best being a 15.56 @ 153.97 kmh (95.67 mph) rubbish reaction time of 1.536 (oops! nodded off waiting for the third amber I think!) Got 5 runs on Saturday; first 4 were pretty much what I expected for a standard car: 15.4, 15.6 etc. Then I gave the mbc a tweak (hehe) and knocked half a second off in what turned out to be my final run of the weekend... 15.06@154.29 kmh (95.87mph) react time 0.893; 1/8th mile time: 9.828@121.54 kmh (75.52mph) Was pretty happy with that seeing it's an auto and achieved what I wanted to do by getting the 1/8th into the 9s. Result! Pleased with the terminal speeds overall, nothing under 94 mph. Went back today and spent 6 hrs waiting around to see if any of us RWYB'ers would get a run and eventually left after being given yet more bs by the organisers... a mid to high 14 was on the cards for sure I think- took me a little while to get back into the tree timing and to work out a good launch with the autobox- 2000 to 2500rpm and tracs off. May try and go to a RWYB in Bitburg, Germany in mid June- depends on work and finances though; if not, it'll be end of July before I get another chance on the 1/4 sadly *sighs*.
