it has been a while since i`ve popped on here but i am in a bit of a dilema,i`m carefuly considering changing my beloved 95` t-5 for a 99`-01` s80 t-6 but have heard a few electrical/coolant/auto gearbox horror stories could anyone help to steer me in the right direction PLEASE many thanks dave
:welcome: Ive heard some stories about the T6 Gearboxes going astray, and they are not cheap as you can imagine. My friend had a T6 on a 00 plate and he searched for 3 months for a tiptronic box for his, he ended up breaking it as he couldnt find one. You could talk to Rimmer100 on here he has a T6 which he has also tuned, im not sure if he's had any hassle with his, but he would be a good start :D

Yeah he does the 280 or the 304 for the 850 T5's for £150 :D I have the 304 on my 855 Auto and it is super quick, 257bhp @ 5885rpm and 162mph.
if i`m some how "put off" the idea of a t6 i`ll have to have some of that,promised my self for long time and at that price it makes for a quick brick!!!
