Folks
I replaced the MAF on my car (now sold) to try and cure a performance problem, but it turned out to be a separate boost controller issue. I left the 'new' replacement one on the car, so I have a fully working Bosch one for sale. I've heard these things are expensive, and the fleabay replacement ones suspect, so grab a bargain!
£30ono inc postage

The original Bosch part code is PBT 6F 30. I (needlessly) replaced it with the updated item with a part code of 0280 218 045.
Lemme know by PM if you want to purchase.

If only you'd decided to change the S60 a week earlier I could have avoided buying a new one from GSF! Never mind, win some, lose some...

Can you provide the 7 digit number underneath too please mate?
xxxx-xxx
Cheers :)

Chris
Do you have the part number for the one from gsf as i might have to replace mine and i`d rather go for the genuine bosch one than an aftermarket jobbie as i`ve done that before to no avail
Cheers

Hi sorry for the delay.
Just looking at the sensor now. The only obvious 7-digit 'number' is PBT-GF30. Apologies, I misread this previously. i've just googled it and it does appear to be the original part number for the MAF on various Volvos and Fords.
However when I replaced it, the new part came with the number 0280 218 045.
If i'm looking in the wrong place and your unit has a code elsewhere, describe where it is and i'll check again.
Hope this helps
Kev.

Stuart,
Sorry mate, only just spotted your post.
The one I got from GSF in Sneinton was 0208 218 108. The one I replaced was a 0208 218 045, which is now superceded with 0208 218 108. So, 0208 218 108 is the one to get apparently, although a 0208 218 045 will also work...
GSF's list price was £165 I think (can't remember if this was inc or ex VAT), but once I told them I could get one from pfv for £155 all in, they price matched, so it ended up being £135+VAT.

Just to reiterate - the sensor i'm selling is a genuine Bosch part. I'm happy to give a full refund if the buyer has any problems with it (within 2 months).

Bump... anyone want this MAF or shall I eBay it...?
Post 230857 by cornclose on 2009-05-21 14:26:25
I'm surprised no one has snapped this up yet - seeing as it's quite a common point of failure/can be the cause of many ills.
I'm tempted to buy it myself as a spare, seeing as you're local...
