Image these are my current alloys, Fox R4's. I wasn't too keen on them when i first picked them up but i'velearnt to live with them Image & these are my old wheels. I really liked these but they were just too weak & didn't like potholes
Very smart TC. What was your last one and why did you sell it?
Cheers, my last car was just a normal 855 glt, it'd been rica'd,K&N'd etc... the usually stuff, sadly wrote it off one night pulling out from behind a parked car on the wrong side of the road. Someone bought it off me and apparently it's now on the road again.....somewhere...
Can I ask.....what's involved in the sided exhaust conversion?
i was looking for someone with the exhaust coming out the side skirt lol. I guess you mean my twin exit? Powerflow made it for me, it goes thru the rear beam/suspension the same as the normal exhaust then a Y-piece splits the 2. The passenger side carries on as normal & the other side goes under the spare wheel well & out that side. I just used a Dremmel to cut the bumper the other side (think there might of been a small angle section that needed grinding as well)

Post 246634 by volvoturboman on 2009-08-02 15:04:13

Right probably a silly question but whats the difference in pegs a titans. Pictures up top??

Post 246638 by cameron on 2009-08-02 15:12:05

Pegs have the R emblem on them, and are " usually " 18" where as Titans are 17". There are some 17" Pegs going about, iirc they were an option.

Post 246639 by Tomcat on 2009-08-02 15:13:04

Pegs are a lot squarer than Titans, they have an angled, sharp look compared to the Titans that have softer lines, also the Pegs where available in 17,18 & 19", plus they also had an "R" symbol on one of the spokes. Titans where only made in 17".

Post 246763 by t5_carl on 2009-08-02 23:15:53

ohh, dam u all with ur pegs!!some nice rims, 5 spokes, or multi spokes seem the way forward!

Post 246777 by cameron on 2009-08-02 23:55:26

Those are 16" persus if im not mistaken, usually on the awd or tdi :D

Post 246792 by thebadger on 2009-08-03 01:07:25

Pegs also came in a variant size 17" called satelites (slightly different shape, but with the R on them) My current set is Orestes (17") Image A touch bland, as they fitted them as standard to loads of S60 & V70 models from about 2004-2007. Comets are where its at tho! p.s. (my 1000th post!)

18 inch pegs were a free optional upgrade. Just buy quality replicas ,much cheaper.

Post 246994 by AndysR on 2009-08-03 20:53:12

Titan's also had a lip around the edge of the wheel where as the Peg's are flush all the way to the edge of the wheel ;)

Post 247044 by Cubes on 2009-08-04 00:00:53

Pegs and Volans are a very nice wheel. I, personally, have always been a fan of Comets. In fact it was one of the things I held out for when I was looking for a C70. I spent 2hrs cleaing the buggers this afty! Whipped 'em off, give 'em a clean, and then popped them back on. Then I started on the wheels (wa-hey!)...
