Good morning all this is a plea for help. I appreciate that I am a new member and none of you know me which is why I sheepishly ask for your assistance. I want to change the cambelt but not being too handy with the spanners I was wondering if I could ask for some assistance.I would obviously come to you and bung you some beer tokens for the help. The car is a 97 S70 T5 CD auto and I live in Sandbach Cheshire. Can anyone help and how much am I looking at for the spares and where can I get them.Main dealer ? Thankyou.

Search for RUFE on here he sells genuine parts - works for a main dealer. Or www.partsforvolvos.com

There is a member on here and the t5d5 forums, Tim Williams who is a very good mechanic and knowledgeable chap when it comes to Volvo's and takes work on if you ask nicely going by others comments and work he has carried out. It may be easier to reach him on the T5d5 forums though. IIRC he is based in Lecestershire.

I'd do it but I messed mine up when I did that ( I got it a tooth out), it ran ok but was a little flat. There's a pretty good independant around the corner from me in Wigan who I use and is also pretty cheap.
