So I'm still having boost problems with my mbc (R-spec). So tonight I turned it down (unscrewed it) and the bloody boost is higher than before!

my advice is get it set at a dyno and leave it there.... (the MBC not the car)

Seems there are a few issues with the R-Spec MBCs. Have one one mine and is perfect. For such a simple device it does seem strange... All it is,is a spring loaded ball bearing at the end of the day. Strange....

Yep, but its sometimes the simplest of things that go wrong LOL. I dunno whether there's something wrong internally, I've taken it apart and cleaned it.
EBC it lol
Funny thing that mate, I was looking at a ebc controller kit last night (build it yourself kit) was only around £20. They've also got 2 or 3 AFR meters in different forms, one with an LED bargraph, and one with a number readout and led bargraph to show running lean/rich. Sorely tempted to go that way, as I do love to build kits.

I can't build them kits for toffee (& can't solder) so just get my mate to do them lol
