Can't believe how little it takes to light up the front wheels. There's none of that with the awd system, its just grip, and very little drama. And for the sake of the rubber, I need to lay off the right foot a bit, until I get the system working again. I'm starting to look like a chav, always getting a bit of wheelspin in at the lights LOL

Try the T5 with a remap.mbc and K&N Dave! Will spin an inside wheel exiting a roundabout in the dry at 70.00mph (haw haw!) so tyres are working hard..:funkybana

You need to learn how to drive mate. :P An experienced driver can drive a powerful 2WD without spinning the wheels. ;)

I've managed to wheelspin my old Jeep XJ in 4WD before (turbodiesel!) however filterlab is quite correct :D

Of course Bomb, I do fully understand what you're saying. AWD does make it painless to easily drive flatout everywhere and it removes a lot of the required concentration to prevent wheelspin.

Yeah, it's really no fun at all... how are you supposed to get all sideways in an AWD? No fun at all!

Hmmm, or drive across steep hills? I prefer a bit of life out the power/steering balance. Just me tho...

Going up towards my Uncles house in Holmfirth is quite a steep private road. So we closed the gate and he told me to try a hill start. I brought the revs up to 1.5k, brought up the clutch until I felt it pulling and slowly let go of the handbreak. As I was bringing up the clutch the o/s front wheel just lit up, the other one was fine  It's only a 2 litre HDi 406 with 90bhp.
