Mixed opinions about this. Some say a good panel in the original airbox is better ie K&N due to the issues regarding heat. Just a thought..

Mmmm i have been thinking about that my old clio williams gave better figures with the K&n panel filter then with the cone filter. Thanks

I got mine from RT Mechanics, it was around the £120 mark at the time. Also use the same kit on my T4. If you want a cone filter, can recommend it. On the Panel Filter vs Cone filter debate:- It's all down to personal choice I guess. I can honestly say in my T4 I felt the car was more responsive after the BSR was fitted. Didn't notice any different either way in the T5. I just like the sound it makes, and the look under the bonet. People make big noises about heat soak etc.. I've never noticed a problem, and i've been on track several times. A few months ago Wobbly Dave did some 'testing' to compare a decent panel filter with a cone filter/heat shield set up. The cone filter didn't give any pefromance increase, but what it did prove is that it didn't give a performance decrease either, and intake temps weren't effected IIRC.

K&N panel, tried the cone not as good in my opinion, does sound better though.

There's another option go for an induction kit(no heat soak)

mesh filter (sounds pretty good) with bottom half of airbox left in with original air feed works pretty well
