I have ummed and arred about getting the FSDs replaced for a while. I am very happy that I have the new B2 kit - thanks to HLM for a good price.
They have a real quality feel about them and the crashy ride has been transformed into smooth sporty one with very little rock or roll. It is difficult to remember but it does feel like it was when the FSDs were new. I still think these are an improvement. I guess you get used to the way things ride. The transformation is excellent.
Oh and they are yellow and blue. (Not sure if that is important.)
A big thanks to Hamish for letting me use the office to continue working.
I have been eclipsed somewhat by Marcus's new go cart. It is very cool.
Piccys!

this little go-kart? i was surprised my mate fit in in as he is about 6'6".
i have just sold my rm250 and have a spare engine and few bits lying about
my mate there is a fabricator welder and came up with the idea of strapping the 2stroke motor to a little buggy similar to this one.
should be an animal
were they expensive?
They were over 800 for the set. So yes they are expensive. I have been very impressed with the way that they handle the bumps. The handling is very balance and there is virtual no lean at all. The C70 does understeer at the edge of the grip envelope but it is still very controllable.
The quality does shine through.

I was horrified when Hamish told me he brought this buggy for Marcus - the boy is only 6 years old!!!! However it has been a great incentive for Marcus to behave himself and to do as he is told.
Yesterday he jacked it up by himself got himself a spanner and proceeded to unbolt the seat so it can be moved forward for him. We have arranged for the first test drive at the weekend God help us!!!!

Personally I think I prefer the bilsteins. As I said the quality does shine though.
They work really well with the Eibach springs.

sounds to me like you have a true petrol head in the making!
there will be plenty of fun to be had in that little buggy without a doubt,
after falling off numerous motorbikes in the past it goes without saying that you will be safe as houses with a rollcage, helmet and a 2 point harness.
you want to be worried when little marcus straps it to the dyno and tries to queeze every last bit of power out of that 160cc engine.
maybe hamish could strap on a 19t for good measure
lmao
