Why not a Volvo???? Surely an MV6 is more on insurance than a T5???
Is the ban whacking the insurance up aswell????

insurance went up about £250 touch, the omega is actually cheaper than a T5, have no idea why can only think it is due to the fact the volvo has the turbo

omegas a good car, had a two year old 2.5 V6 elite a while back. only thing i would say is if it randomly doesnt start, ignore the dealers and get the camshaft sensor changed (speaking from experience) and the drivers seat used to give me serious back pain!
other then that, good solid cars and the sound they make is absolutely brilliant!
nearly forgot. make sure you change the timing belt! had an encounter with a tv journalist in a yellow 911 at staples corner getting onto the M1. i was actually on the way to a vauxhall dealer in watford to have the belt done.
i motioned to him to put his foot down, he signalled back that once we got round the bend he would.
can you guess what happened next?
he put his foot down, i put my foot down, both from about 50. i think to myself "i know those porsches are quick but surely not that quick!"
look down and i'm still doing 50.......then 40....30.....hard shoulder. timing belt snapped!

I'm ok, struggling to find a job but otherwise fine. Yeah the 960 bug has bitten deep, I'd like to keep two but I think the R will have to go in the new year to fund the 960 project.

Welcome back.
I have had an Omega before now, an Elite 2.5D auto. Slow and thirsty but comfortable and well spec’d. Strangely enough the wife has a Grand Scenic :D
