If it were me I'd give that a wide bearth, doesn't say which tuning company it is or any other details. How old is your V70?, you can get a RICA through Chad on here.

I had an "Off the shelf" RICA done to my old S70, as i was to lazy to drive to Brum, and I didnt know i had a boost leak. I ended up £900 lighter in the pocket when i found out i did have one, as the overboost bent a rod :( Stay well clear, save up a little extra and get a "proper" remap ;)

The words, 'cheap' - 'ebay' and 'good' - rarely if ever go together. Remap all the way - will leave your safety protocols in place on the ECU and prevent the Boom + shower of cogs scenario.

Cheers guys, glad i asked now. Where is the best place to get one? I phone AI Autosport and they said they couldnt remap it?

Were are you based???? RICA are based in Brum or Preston. There is a cheap remapper in Nantwich in Cheshire, he'll do a map for £200 but i dont know what the Volvo's are like. My mate had his 140 TDI Golf done by them, and he's made up! Average RICA will be about £495 iirc, but it maybe cheaper now Theres HUNDREDS of threads on this. Deffo go remap first, thats after you've changed your h.t leads, dizzy and plugs of course ;)

Belfast, northern ireland. To be honest ill only be keeping it for a year or so then going down the lines of 4wd twin turbo, so dont want to spend an absolute fortune. Want to get as much power as i can for £700 or so.

Do a search on here for remaps, and look on the RICA website for dealers in your part of the world

most power at cheap price - remap and custom stainless straight through exhaust - that way it will sound really fast and therefore feel quick too!

Hamish is only offering the £150 remap to older cars, so if your V70 is a ph 2 or any later than say 98 then I doubt he'd do it for that price, however give him a bell.

ace275 is an older car as far as I have read - so I am fairly sure that Hamish can supply the remap formerly known as RICA for that sum (£150).
