My power steering resevoir is leaking from the top through cap and bottom, so have ordered a new one to replace it this week.
Am i right in thinking, just empty out resevoir using whatever method i can, clamp two pipes, undo 2 pipes (which i just know isnt going to be that easy, i remember my fuel filter) and voila, bung in new one, attach pipe, unclamp and fill resevoir with fluid....
...or is there some kind of certain satanic ritual i must adhere to regarding bleeding etc.......please say no......
Cheer guys

It's easy - once you have removed the old one and clamped the new reservoir in place - fill to the line on the dipstick & then use the steering wheel to rotate lock to lock 2 or 3 times.
Check level.
Repeat until level is stable (perhaps twice)
Any bubbles in the hydraulics should pops to the top.

Forgot to say - when you turn the steering wheel - obviously the engine will be running (& subsequently the PS pump)
