Fully Floating Axle

I intend to fit a fully floating Dana 1031 axle into the 242 rally car. I have looked at Sellholm Tuning's offering (I would need a second mortgage to buy this), and reckon that most of it can be made, however, there is one wee sticky problem left. Sellholm are obviously using the Volvo front hub, coupled to a billet adapter, which connects the hub to the axle. The wheel studs we can make or get from Gartrac (just means using different threaded nuts). The half-shafts can be sourced ready-made from the U.S.A.. Now the problem. How do we fit the half-shaft to the hub, so that the half-shafts are turning the hubs? All I can think is that, 1) you use a tapered half-shaft, fitting all as per the front suspension, or, 2) you make up some spline arrangement for the hub (not sure about this one), or, 3) a flage is fitted/welded to the half-shaft, which, in turn, is bolted to the hub. Perhaps we go and modify a Mk1 Mk2 escort/Atlas unit. Anyone got any ideas?

Sometimes I surprise myself. I was in rear wheel rive mode, soon as I looked at the more modern front wheel drive Volvos, all was clear.
