Hello everyone
I have a volvo 850 t5 it had an oil change and shell mineral oil was used (not good) after a few weeks i was doin around 90 mph and a tapping started im guessing lifters? I removed the rockerbox to check for damage all was ok. I replaced the cam seals and cambelt Filled her up with 10 30 fully sinthetic oil and bolted it all back together.
I noticed oil leaking from a small hole on the rocker which i belive is a redundent oil return to the turbo, it is located between spark plug3 and4 thrre was nothing stopping the oil cumming out and never realy noticed but now it is and i cnt stop it. Ive replace the oil filler cap rubber because that was leakin. Any thoughts on the redundent hole?
Many thanks joe

hi mate you mean the breather for the pcv system, there should be a rubber hose running from the hole down the front of the engine to the pcv container.
I take you have no rubber pipe coming from the top of the bloke?

Thats better. Well to the right of where the number 3 ht lead is pulled out theres a hole about the size of a penny with two offset bolt holes you can jus see it in the pic. Thats where oils leaking.
Thanks mate
