as in my other post i've sorted the mbc out. but i am a little worried it might be putting out too much boost now. i've only got it open 1 click but its boosting about 13-14psi and occasionally spikes at 15psi. Is this too much? had all the problems before with it not doing anything so took it off. I've put it back on again leaving off a T piece that comes with it as Bomb suggested and now it seems like its giving me too much!! can't win. Jamie who had the car before me said it was running 16-17psi with a rica 304 re-map on it (which it hasn't got anymore) so do you think it'll be ok at this pressure? I can't turn it down anymore so its gotta be this or take it off again. Any suggestions??

opps sorry missed your thread, 13psi is considered safe with a MBC on the stock ECU. The standard ECU should cut the boost around 15psi anyway but think fuelling is ok for 13psi

well it has not hit boost cut yet and i think you can run upto 15psi aslong as you dont floor it at low rpm, but i'm sure the mbc expert is lurking somewhere ! paging mr pedro, mr pedro to reception please...................... BUGGER, BEAT ME TO IT !!!!!!!

cheers guys. as far as the fuelling goes its an 'R' and has the white injectors so should be enough?

mines on whites running between 10-15psi so should be fine mate

thanks again. thats good to know. I wouldn't risk opening the mbc another click anyway. Its running like this on 1 click so I dread to think what it would be like opening it another. Probably a big boom and one unhappy bunny!!! :) Cheers.

maybe worth looking at the spring tension again if its that high on the first click, i'm going to leave it with mr fandango now as he keeps beating me to it lol
