I have just bought a '05 V50 T5, very happy with it so far.
It has an aftermarket grille which I like but I think it looks a bit strange without a badge of any sort. I am thinking of buying a badge and gluing it to the grille.
This is how it is now.
Comments and advice welcome

Many people do the opposite ;) I personally really like that look, without the badge, but it's a matter of taste.

Id leave it off on that type of grill and have it slammed on black rims go totally dark horror film baddie

Thanks for the replies. I know what you mean, I am just trying to avoid the Vauxhall badgeless grille look that I see on the roads sometimes.
I have mocked up how it might look. I am still not decided either way.

Well, I got bored if people asking what the car was, so an eBay badge is now glued in place.
Best of both in my mind, matt back grille but still loyal to the brand.

I really like it - but Volvo is all about the slash. I have Volvo cufflinks - no name, just a slash.

I'm liking the 'slash' ethos but I drive past debadged Vauxhalls and want to poke my eyes out.

It was quite cool before they launched the latest damn Astra.

I think just the slash would look good. Problem is trying to find one without the Volvo emblem in the middle. Painting it to match the grille might work too.
