:B_newbie: After having written off my TVR Griffith, ironically I hit a boat, don't ask! with my 2 dogs on board,I have decided to go with a safer and more interesting form of transport,a '95 T5R Estate auto in yellow,it is in standard condition and everything works, even the air con, which is a bit of a breath of fresh air after the Tiv,which you couldn't really take a passenger in,unless he/she was a ballet dancer, because the wiring loom mainly resided in the passenger foot well, that being said it was super quick, and great fun to drive. Having read the threads on here on tuning, suspension mods et al,after much soul searching I can't bring myself to changing a single thing about the old girl, she is so much fun as she is,and as I said everything works. So nothing else for it then! Got to get another one so I can weave a little magic, maybe a manual this time but deffo an estate. So you guys prepare to be asked a zillion questions

Welcome to the forum, always fancied a TVR Cebera myself(love the noise) but doubt I could afford the fuel bills, lol. Ask whatever you need there's plenty of experienced members on here.

Cerbera with the AJP8 is a fantastic car, good bet for the future too getting rarer all the time.My griff was running twin throttle bodies bosche green injectors and a stealth cam, circa 350 bhp,and I reckon about 8mpg locally!

Welcome to the forum. Oh the AJP8 is nice! I wouldn't mind a Chim, a Griff or Cerbera. Lovely cars.

Nice previous car, sorry to hear about that boat thing! I'd love a TVR... Look forward to getting to know you :) It won't be long before you get the modding bug....!

Welcome aboard the longship VPCUK. Or should it be a banana-boat? Anyhow, I think 302mm brakes (essential IMHO at around £200), a little remap (start at £150 depending where you go), a K&N flat-panel filter to replace the paper one, and perhaps a Volvo strut-brace, might just be the sort of invisible treatments that would make your car just completely lovely - and to all intents and purposes, original. :worthless :funkybana:funkybana:funkybana:funkybana:funkybana

Thank you all very much for the fantastic welcome into the Performance Volvo familly! Have taken your thoughts on board Flatout Phil and will go with the commonsense mods that you have suggested, including a mild remap. Sorry no pics yet,but the camera is on charge and will post some soon. Have already tracked down another estate and will keep you guys posted.
Howdy and welcome. Nice chilled out forum you have arrived at. Plenty helpful too. Enjoy
I'll second that. We do get the occasional spanner, but it is generally speaking, notably laid back, un-precious and mellow by comparison to some other forums where an excess of angst, pomposity, testosterone, jealousy or vitriol can sometimes spoil things. Fortunately, the spanners soon depart to tighten their nuts elsewhere.

I like uploading to photobucket (free and very easy) and then inserting the picture link.

The attachments came from a HP file so might not be readable without their software come up fine on my pc.Is probably safer bet to upload to photobucket as you say will open an account and upload in next day or two
