Just wanted to say a quick Hi! Bought a '98 V70 2.5T last week, but have found a slight problem... I'll post in the appropriate area later, but having part ex'd a 2.3 scorpio ultima for it, i've fallen in love! :) 'nuff said here, i'll now go and post some proper topics. Dave

Had a a couple of Scorpios myself (not to be confused with the earlier Granada Scorpio) -Great cars with quite a following, went to a Fantastic meet in Weston Super Mare with 1 of the owners groups. I had a 98' 2.9i 24v Cosworth Ultima - the 'Frightened Frog' looks kinda grow on you. Being RWD they are a lot of fun and the interior with the 'rouched' leather is very nice, more toys than just about any other car of that time - side mirrors that tilt down when selecting reverse to allow you to see the kerb was my favourite, heated front screen, photochromatic rearview mirrors etc. Reliability was a little suspect however - especially radiators in the Cossies :O(

I have a soft spot for those Scorpios... retro old school...

Welcome! Shame you part ex'd the Scorp, I know loads of people who would want the 2.3 lump lol. They were massively well equiped cars, and the 24v engine sounds fantastic with a couple of tweaks!
