...but we all know how excited I get.
Just wondering if there would be any interest in doing either the 16th or 17th? Still planning on going the 31st October regardless.
(I'm probably going to need two S60Rs at this rate lol)

Ahhhh the crack pipe of 1/4mileing claims another victim :bounce: would love to go every weekend, never get a chance to drive fast for obvious reasons and spend 2000 miles a week at 55mph . I reckon all we need is a field a mile long then tarmac two lanes :funkybana

not a bad idea........considering our future plans and events and any other silly ideas (as benny would put it) we cook up.

Just need a farmer to sell a field somewhere for 5-10k... then a VPCUK cemet team. Could even make a day of it. Everyone brings a few bags of cemet and a spade and a few weeks bobs your uncle you have the strip.
Just need the timing equipment!

OK then looking at the topic of out of season running more seriously......step 1. Will see how much it costs to lease somewhere like Shakespere out of season.....and will go from there lol.
(Even though I like the idea of a private track I'm not sure a load of people buying into it will actually work in the real world. More likely to work better as a commercially style run idea with track raised profits re-invested....whether track raised profits are through gate fees or sponsership etc. Though we usually only have <20 people or so from here on 1/4 mile days so not sure a private track would be sustanable from just vpc use).
