Sorry to lower the tone of the forum by posting a thread about this, but..... Does anyone else think the judges hear something different to what we hear at home on the TV? I mean the judges go on about how it was the best performance of the night blah blah, but some of the acts are terrible. Mind you, Katy Perry sounded awful during her performance, absolutely bloody awful. Anyway, back to Volvo related topics.......

due to the british public having no taste when it comes to entertainment on tv, so called tv execs continue to believe that the x factor is loved by so many and a must for every year that passes. but because they average 13 million viewers each series that is enough for them to justify putting this crap on tv! :grumpy: im now getting off my soap box (it's a big one) nat geo wild is good tonight.

I believe if I were payed Simon Cowells money I would do a far better job than any of them! I have an ear for music honest ;) Its just a shame we only have one TV and I have to endure it on a regular basis.

My viewing is now almost exclusively Dave. Place I can have a laugh after a crap day whether it be repeats of Mock the Week, or Have I Got News For Youa etc. Also where the WRC is at... If it isn't X Factor then it's Strictly or some other "talent" show. How's about "Strictly Come Skydiving"? Only without the parachute for any supposed celebrity or wannabe celebrity, daft enough to sign up for it... Still, at least Big Brother is gone (after however many series), on that basis, how long until this batch also pass into history? 2020? Oh dear......

Discovery shed on 242 is also excellent.

I always felt that " Celebrity Suicide " would make a great show. I'd certainly watch it. Pookie

X Factor was apalling; Diana Vickers looked like she was miming (until very near the end) and I could not understand a word she was saying. All the production was there to try and distract us. Katy Perry was woefully bad. On a CD she's fine as she's been mastered and studio produced. I think she should rethink going live as she simply cannot sing. The whole affair was so sycophantic; the judges claping thir perfomances like they'd just seen someone brought back from the dead. Thankfull that creep Storm was sent packing (another one giving scotland a bad name as every year) and Diva Fever - one singer and the other that wobbled around doing very little. Good riddance. Go Wagner!!! Just happened to see it as wife and others were watching....

The X-factor....a very good reason to live abroad lol I don't feel at all deprived plus I don't have to pay the TV licence fee to fund this sort of cr@p now- happy days :D

What a great idea they all get parachutes just one opens on impact, simple but effective elimination process. Invite all the contestants from X thingy, Big Brother and Britain's got talent. Good idea of the Month award to gmain1967

Being a musician and involved in a lot of things musically. Shows like the X-Factor. Or 'Crap Factor' I like to call it, are pathetic. I dont even wanna start ranting about this show....

We've been voting for useless turds for centuries. They just used to call them 'elections'.

I have never watched an episode of X-factor etc but from what I can gather the audience have Van Gogh's ear for music and Stevie Wonder's eye for talent

It plays to the masses....13M people must be interested somehow. However I suspect it's adolesent girls and women. Unlucky enough for most people, women control the TV remote these days.... BRING BACK MANPOWER... If you can muddle up the TV preferences to make DAVE, QUEST, E4 channels 1,2,3 and they'll never know how to put it back!!! So what song are the normal people going to buy this year to spoil the show. I vote for "Star Trekking across the universe"...
