Hi All Can anybody tell me what the stud pattern measurements would be for my V70 T5 Reg 2001. I have seen a set of wheel Stud pattern: 5 x 108 mm Wheel size: 18 x 8 they have come off a 2004 Volvo (not sure which model) Could you also give me some idea what size rubber I should run on theses rims?

there off s60r/v70r i think! my car is a standard s60r, the standard tyres that came with it, were 235/40/18 im sure you could fit some different sizes on that rim dave

Yeah that would be the way to do it if I was in the same place as the wheels. :dunce:

What size wheels and tyres have you currently got? Then you can work out the rolling circumfrence of the original tyres compared to the new ones you plan to fit, as this will affect your speedo and gearing.

Andi T5 I always enjoy the most practical advise you offer.

they're pegs from the s60r or new v70r and they will 100% fit your v70 as they have the same stud pattern 5x108. 235/40-18's are fitted as standards but these rub on older s70's and s1 v70's so the best tyre on these is usually a 225/35-18 but seeing as you've got a s2 v70 the standard 235/40-18 should be ok but check here first: http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html put in your own standard tyre size and experiment to get the closest match. go on get them on they look great, heres my s70r with them on: http://uk.geocities.com/whsuk/s70r/QV003.jpg

So is it better to be - %2 differencr or + %1.7 - or is there hardly any difference ?

upto a 3% difference smaller or larger is ok
