Hello evryone.
Today in this horrible weather my volvo 850 t5 decided too play up, basicaly i drove home from work pulled up my drive and turned the car off and pulled the key out but my radio, heater, airial, cigarete lighter and boost gauge all stayed on!!
Not a clue why this has happend but im thinking possibly ignition switch??
If anyone has had this or has any ideas could you please help.
Many thanks Joe

Mine has done that a couple of times, turned off the ignition and the headlights, etc. stayed on. I just started/stopped the engine again and it sorted it.
Might be that as it is getting old and worn you managed to "cheat" the ignition switch by turning the key quickly (which is what I guessed happened to mine).

The electrical part of the ignition is probably the culprit- just got a new one for my T5R from Rufe- around £30 mate.
Theres a thread on VOC forum about fixing it HERE
