If your not too worried about vibrations, fit a top poly engine mount, makes the engine sound more growly in the cabin.

It's harder, so transmits more vibration into the cabin - which means you get more sound and more 'feel'
Like mine, I can 'feel' the engine turning over at tick-over and low revs, I much prefer it to the standard set up.
Intake will enhance the sound muchly, that and a BOV will make it sound good.
Stainless Steel custom exhaust will also make a big difference :)
PS - cheap option... wind down your windows and put your heated seats on!!

Exactly, don't bother with the bov- took my Forge bov off and now get chatter and lots of pops n bangs on over run.
A decent size cone filter, 3" exhaust and decat, poly top mount and you'll grin all day long when you floor it...expect to have a crisis lol

Ferrari's sound toss tho, more of a high pitch whine than anything. Bring back the old Cherry Bomb silencers lol

The ol cherry bomb, had one of those on my old mk2 escort, sounded good but went no where only 1.3 lol. i like the sound of a V8, especially in a TVR or Mustang shelby GT. Gt 500 gone in sixty seconds, now thats a car i could happily have.
