Hi guys I need some advice please. I own a C70 t5 2000 model and I have just started having intermitent non start problems. I do know that the throttle body is faulty but I want to know if it would stop the car from starting. Any advice would be appreciated.

on ME7 cars (which yours is) the ECU controls the throttle body as part of the choke/cold start so could well be the problem. Does it idle ok once started?

It idles fine when running. What happens is I can start the car then instantly it cuts out then it wont start if I leave it a few minutes it starts up ok but it did take a good 10 minutes a couple of days ago. Do they suffer from fuel pumps.
