Hi all can anybody tell me were the cruise control is located on the 850 t5 and also what pipes go to it is there a vac pipe from the vac tree or throttle body?
Ive put my new engine in seems to be ok just ranning a bit lumpy on tic over also the temp gauge when driving doesnt go over a 1/4 but after sitin on tic over for around 10 mins reaches 1/2 way but no fan is this normal?
And finaly lol my boost is all over the place hits 0.7- bar but should be 1.2 on the rica ecu ive got. Dnt no why ill check for a leak but dnt think there is!
Thanks for looking all. All answers apritiated!

My thermostat rarely reaches over a third of the way up even after an hour idling. I would worry about that in the slightest. There are two types of thermostats for the 850 one opens sooner than the other.
As for the fan I think mine has only ever come on after I have turned the car off. Wouldnt worry unless your temperature starts to hit the high end on the guage.
As for your boost, if you dont have all the VAC lines connected you wont reach full boost as there will be a vacuum leak. This would also explain the erratic/lumpy running.

i'd certainly try & make sure the fan is working ok before you use it for any long journey's. There are 2 yellow wires from the ECU to the fan relays which will get the fan working if you bypass them to earth, i'll look on BT & get back to you with pics & the colours.

Aw thanks for the tempreture input. Can you please tell me what should run off the 3 vac connectors on the throttle body and off the tree.? At the minit iv got dump valve, fan and 1 blank and servo off the big one on the throttle body and on the tree just my fuel reg
vac i think. Does cruise control need to go on the vac tree/throttle body? And am i missing anthing?
Thanks

When I was getting my car Rica'd by HLM, I was strongly advised to change my thermostat asap as it was sitting at a 1/4! They said it was early sign of failure. I changed it with a genuine replacment and it now sits at the half way point all year round!

The only thing I can suggest doing is trace all the VAC lines from the diagram to ensure they are all in the correct places, if everything is present just block the other outlets.
