As above. The T4 isn't exactly standard as it sits, but my "package" from Australia arrived so the next stage begins... Injectors already here, and hybrid 19T turbo arrived this week, along with an Innovate AFR which was too good an opportunity to turn down! Now just to get everything fitted and a custom map to get most out of it. Not going to be cheap, but going to be right!

The Innovate is a good move :)

how much is that gonna give with a hybrid 19T ? will explosions be involved ? :)

Sounds excellent. Hope your going to bring it down south sometime to a 1/4mile meet and show all these t5s and Rs whos boss
how much is that gonna give with a hybrid 19T ? will explosions be involved ? :)
Hopefully no explosions, though possibly burning rubber....! As for out and out power not too bothered about figures, see how it drives on the road. Would like to see somewhere in region of 300, but not hung up on it... It spins in second on a dry road as it is and don't want to make it too much worse! To be continued

It in't about that, it's how much fun on an A or B road, picking off traffic:wink:

Gotta admit I'm with Gmain a good safe drive down a good road, dispatching lesser traffic and feeling the car come alive ... is what it's all about.

The 19T should give you some good figures! It's going to be a fun package. Still love the T4s :)
It spins in second on a dry road as it is and don't want to make it too much worse!
What diff do you have in there and what tyres? Edit - nice turbo choice. Simple but effective.
What diff do you have in there and what tyres? Edit - nice turbo choice. Simple but effective.[/QUOTE Cheers. My theory is to keep as much as standard where possible hence the hybrid which will mate exactly as stock. Diff is standard at present - will wait and see how it copes (or doesn't) as is, before I consider any change. Tyres are Nankang NSII's, which I would change, but reluctant to do so when they still have around 5mm of tread. Once they are done, Yoko Parada 2's will be going on, love 'em! Spent around £2K on it so far and it's a case of prioritising what to do next... Once everything is fitted and mapped, I have a suspicion it will be brakes and suspension...

My experience with the T4s is that you will want to do the diff when funds permit - that much torque through the front wheels will put you in spinny spinny land on anything but a dry, flat, straight road :) Still a lot of fun though!!!
this almost makes me want to spend money on my T4......
LOL!! It does get quite addictive... And if I can find someone who will custom map it, it will come together.....!
i have enough trouble keeping my T4 clean though! :worried: I have no idea who can do custom maps. That sounds expensive.
just an engine map adapted specifically for that engine.. to take account of the mods etc..

Just an idea, seriously considering it myself, there's a thread about it somewhere.

I've still got all holidays to take, so a few days over to Holland wouldn't be out of the question. Might just look into that!

Yeah. He speaks the truth :) look out the thread, I'm sure I wrote about it...!

Once I get the niggles sorted with my T4 I might have to pick your brains on a few things. But first I need to get her running right.
