Can anyone recommend a good boost gauge to me?
Ive trawled ebay and there are so many Im getting lost.
All I know is I DONT want a white face and I need to mount it in a small pod on the dash so its gotta be 52mm.
SUGGESTIONS PLEASE! :)

Vdo black faced gauge..?
If it's for the 240 it will match the standard instruments a treat..

Autometer Sport Comp. :)
Got mine delivered from the US of A for about 50 notes.
Very accurate and looks good. All the fittings, Red or green bulb sleeves and some stickers :D

TIM Turbo Gauges are pretty good

I do like the VDO ones but Im having trouble finding them in PSI. Also looked at Autometer which seem to get great reviews compared to Autogauge which Ive heard bad things of. Tim do great cheap and cheerful gauges but Im not keen on the style.
So far its looking between a VDo which suits the interior nicely or a Autometer.

Although thats a good point. Look out for the R Sport dash too.

In america I know, but it's only a question of shipping. Especially if you want an authentic factory look...

those cost a bleeding fortune! Always fancied one but they arent cheap and most need a rebuild cos the circuitboards die. Theres a guy in teh USA who rebuild them but thats extra cost.
Looking a bit further into this and I might go for an Autometer Sport Comp.

They only do Mocal, racetech, revotec, tim & ford racing :(
Actually I cant decide. Its a toss up between these two:

I must have been confused. Its the Tim guages they sell.
Here is one at just under £30 rated up to 2 bar.

I do like Tim Gauges. My dad runs them in his MK1 Escort and I used to use them in my MK2 for a short while. I just dont like the look of the boost gauges. Silly I know!
I think Im gonna go for the VDO. Ive seen a company on Ebay.com that sells the VDO gauge and an Autometer fitting kit for about 50 notes. JOB DONE!
Thanks for your help guys. Ill be back with more silly questions soon!

Cheap is a false economy. I have bought two £25 ones now, and wish I had bought one decent £50 one in the first place. :(
